Happy 29th Birthday, My Love!

My fabulous husband, Michael, turned 29 on October 25. To celebrate his birthday, the girls made him a cake. Lily came up with the idea to make him a baseball cake. So, we mixed and baked a yummy strawberry cake and then the girls went crazy decorating!

Alex and her friend Sophie frosting their cake piece.
Lily happily frosting her cake.
After they finished frosting, they enjoyed the next task of
licking the spatula clean!
Definitely the BEST part!
Then they put on the candles.
Lily wouldn't let me forget that red sprinkles are very important
to add to our finished product!

Singing Happy Birthday to Daddy. Sawyer tried extremely hard to get
his hands on those candles!

Lily insisted on getting her daddy a tie for his birthday. She picked out this
handsome bright red one.
Alex had a little help from Mommy with picking out Daddy's favorite candy! Swedish Fish!

Baking a cake is very rewarding!
Happy Birthday, Dear! We all LOVE YOU so MUCH and we are so grateful to have you in our lives and for all the happiness you bring us! We hope you had a SPECTACULAR birthday! One more year until you hit the big 3-0, so make it a good one! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO!
