19 Weeks and Counting!

Baby boy is on his way and I finally feel like my stomach is growing! I feel like this pregnancy is taking FOREVER!!! I am barely half way there! I am sure time will fly with the holidays coming up and then with Alex's birthday in January and Lily's in March, but as of right now, I feel like time is slowly creeping by.

That is okay though, because we need plenty of time to prepare for this little guy to come. We have NOTHING boy and his soon to be bedroom is currently painted pink, so needless to say, we have a lot of work to do! Warning: Exposed belly pic below this one!
I think my baby belly looks bigger with my shirt pulled up. I am excited to say that I can finally use it as a shelf. It works great for eating ice cream in bed when I am feeling too lazy to hold the bowl! (Maybe that is why I seem to spill so much on my shirt these days!)

Snow fun with Daddy!

Lily was very excited to see that it was snowing outside and begged me all day to go out and play. I promised her that when daddy got home, he would be more than happy to go out there with her. She said she couldn't wait to build a snowman. I volunteered daddy for that too! Husbands are good for that stuff!

Here is Lily dressed in her winter best! ( I am so excited because I LOVE her coat and I bought it last year after the season was over for 6.00!!! Whoo hoo!)

Picture through the sliding glass door.
It was sooo cold I didn't want to open it!

Halloween Day 2009

So, I figured I had better hurry up and finish with the Halloween posts, seeing that Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I have been sooo behind, but I am almost caught up! Whoo hoo!!!

Anyway, this is the pumpkin that we carved for the pumpkin contest! Before it was butchered, of course!
A shocker that Lily's smile actually is natural here! It is so hard to get her to smile and act normal for the camera these days!

This is what she usually looks like!
Lily was not impressed with the pumpkin guts!
Our pumpkin, a work in progress! Way to go Mel!
Then good 'ol grandma came over bearing treats for the girls!
Cutest picture EVER! They LOVE their grandma!

Today is the BIG day!

Today is the day we do the ultrasound and get to see how much our little one has grown! We are so excited! We have decided to find out the gender and are very much looking forward to that revelation! A boy would be super nice, but adding a third girl to the mix would (of course!) be wonderful too! We will be sure to get back to everyone with the results! Wish us luck and please pray for good health for the baby! Thank you!

Trunk or Treat Halloween Party

Before going trick or treating, we went to our ward trunk or treat/Halloween party.
INTRODUCING:

Lilyana as the beautiful princess Cinderella!
Alexandria as the cutest ladybug EVER!
Cousin Nataleigh as a sweet little Tootsie roll.
And the best group picture we could get.

We all had a blast. There was good food, games for the kids to play, and some fun contests, which, I am proud to say, we won two of them!!! We won cutest carved pumpkin (we made ours into a kitty) and Alexandria, our ADORABLE ladybug WON cutest costume!!! Whooo Hooo! (Props to my mom for making the costume for Lily two Halloweens ago!)

Michael and his "oh, so thrilled," look (as usual) with ladybug Alex.
My sister and mom going all out for the Halloween festivities!

Michael's 28th Birthday Dinner

Michael's birthday was October 25th (the same day we went to the pumpkin patch) so we decided to go out for a birthday dinner to Chili's with some family and friends. We all had a great time talking and laughing, but poor Michael totally got jipped on his birthday dessert. I told the waitress it was Michael's birthday and all he got was a song! Since when did we stop giving out free birthday ice cream? Do we have an age limit now for free dessert? What a rip off!
